Canada vs Switzerland - Feb 18, Torino
This was a better building than a game. The architect was famed Italian Architect + Engineer Pier Luigi Nervi.
In an bitter sweet ironic twist, given that the Gods deemed that Canada would lose this game 2 - 0, it was nice to see that those two goals were scored by fellow Soo-ite, Paul DiPietro (#15). By the end of this tournament, I'd witnessed 5 goals scored against Canada - THREE of which were scored by people from Sault Ste. Marie.
