Christmas in the Soo, 2007
Dec 21 - 28, 2007
So, on the 21st I flew up to the Soo. Sheila flew to Winnipeg the day before (I drove her to the airport).
Basically, Christmas in the Soo is about Family, Food & Friends. In chronological order here's a smattering of pics that fit the FFF model.
Here's one of the family visits to my parent's house.
Hanging out with my cousins, and their lovely daughters.
We watched my copy of Charlie Brown's Christmas.
Christmas Eve dinner ... no meat allowed. Just fish. And Gnocchi. And stuffed Cannelloni. Check my mom's "Ho! Ho! Ho!" decoration.
I brought home a Buffalo Mozzarella, that made it to me via Italy two days prior.
Christmas Dinner, back to meat ... Lamb & Turkey to be precise.
There was other decoration dishes on the table that I forgot to take a picture of, cause really ... who cares about the other stuff eh?
Went to my aunt's to hang with the rest of the Provenzano Clan.
Obviously, I didn't take this one.

Next day, I went to visit a house I designed for a friend, (in the Soo)

My mom had an early birthday party for me and my sis. I'm January 13th ... she's December 28th. That's my premature 37 birthday cake. Celebrated on Dec. 27th
And my sister's 38 birthday cake. Although her celebration was only one day early. Later on, I found out Alessandro Parco was born on the 28th, in Bassano di Grappa. (although premature, mom, dad & Ale are fine)
Made it to the Porco family reunion. Ironic, that with the time change JP & Silvia's baby was en route at the same time as the family reunion
